The Cincinnati Business Incubator was formed to help each and every citizen within the City’s Empowerment Zones who want to start, own and run a successful business. If we do it right, working together, you’ll be here anywhere from three to five years, taking advantage of the many services we’ve made available that carry a laser-sharp focus on making businesses work day in and day out.

We serve the entire populus, but we do have a special focus on representing the corporate development interests and issues faced by women and minorities. We proudly receive funding from generous grants provided by the City of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Empowerment Corp. and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Our goal is to provide entrepreneurs, start-ups, dreamers and owners of small business – truly the heart of the U.S. economy – with a roadmap to commercial success and financial independence. At CBI, we do sweat the details, because every piece of the puzzle matters. We have the experience and the assets to help you groom every aspect of operations, whether it’s a slick, professional consultancy serving a targeted, niche market; a neighborhood shop; a service company, or the tiny little seed of an idea that may one day blossom into a well-oiled, cash-infused, butt-kicking bastion of American business.

Like the 1,100-plus other business incubators across North America, the only reason we exist is to level the playing field for the little guy (and gal). We offer tips to the corporate toddler, in a sense, as he or she takes those shaky first steps into the big, bad world of business by providing:

• educational forums;
• technical assistance with Internet and e-commerce issues;
• professional office space with secretaries, copiers, meeting rooms, faxes, etc.;
• a broad range of administrative, financial and management support;
• numerous opportunities for networking and creating partnerships.
