THE TEAM AT CBI

Annette Smith Tarver is president and CEO of the Cincinnati Business Incubator Inc. (CBI). She has spent a significant part of her career in the minority and women's business arena as an advocate, policy maker, employee and owner.  In addition, she has focused on assisting small and emerging businesses in meeting the challenges of growth and change.

Annette is a creative and dynamic business leader who is respected by her colleagues for her hard work and candor.  Before joining CBI, Annette was the president of Premiere Management Associates and the vice president of operations for Acme Wrecking Co. Through her guidance, CBI has changed its strategic focus and positioned itself as a leader in small business development, training and incubation.

Annette lends her expertise and advise to businesses and non-profit organizations locally and nationally.  As an involved and committed volunteer, she has been recognized by many organizations for her significant work in the community. She serves on several boards and enjoys working with organizations that promote health and educational development.

Annette, a native Cincinnatian, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Howard University in Washington D.C.  Her post graduate work includes courses at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and the Amos Tuck School of Management at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire

 

 

Anna Sharp is the Director of Development and Marketing Services for Cincinnati Business Incubator, Inc. She is responsible for the research, writing and presentation of agency development plans for funding, programs and public relations.

Anna is a professional manager with eleven years of non-profit experience.  She is recognized as a strong team leader with a focus on people, improvement of programs and project management.

Anna is also very involved with her community. Over the last eight years, she has served in various volunteer roles on several local boards of directors.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University, where she majored in Planing and Development.  She has continued her education with management training courses over the last ten years.

 

 

Debra McMullen is the Executive Assistant for the Cincinnati Business Incubator, Inc. She is responsible for supporting the President & CEO in the development of all phases of CBI programming, interacts with the Board of Trustees, assist the Director of Development and Marketing Services and works with internal and external clients and committees to achieve the mission of the organization.

Debra has 20 years of administrative, management and customer service experience. Before coming to CBI, she worked as a customer service manager and administrative technician for the City of Cincinnati. She also served as a certified customer service trainer for the City of Cincinnati for 10 years.

Debra enjoys volunteer service to the community and serves on various boards. She is a graduate of Project Blue Print Leadership Development Program and is pursuing a Business Administration degree at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. 

 

 

Cynthia Harvill is the administrative Manager for the Cincinnati Business Incubator, Inc.  She is responsible for managing the Shared Services Program, facilitating tenant and affiliate tenant relations, coordinating the administrative work for the agency and clients, facility management and serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees.

Cynthia has a degree in financial management with a minor in real estate from Cincinnati State & technical Community College. In addition, she has completed course work in the areas of technical writing and editing. She has over 15 years experience in business office management.  Before joining CBI, Cynthia worked at Cincinnati State for 10 years performing in a variety of administrative and managerial positions.

 

 

Tracey D. Hayes is the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist for the Cincinnati Business Incubator. Tracey is the friendly face that greets visitors and clients, she handles the switchboard and administrative work for the Shared Services Program working in the Customer Service field for over 7 years, she has developed a positive customer rapport.

Tracey is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati before joining CBI, she worked with the McDonalds Corporation, as a Promotions Manager and did finance and credit lending for Citifinancial, one of the leaders in financial restructuring.
